Anyone any ideas about a sort of "woooooooom" sound when turning a curve going right? It is worse when going right about 30mph round a curve in the road.

Anyone any ideas? Dont tell me my suspemsion is fooked! If it is, is there anyway of getting it safe so I can sell the car?

At a guess I'd say a wheel bearing. Not sure which one though.

I feel a 1242 turbo coming on...

I'd need to get a garage to sort that with a special press, right?

you can do it yourself but its worth getting a garage to do it,to cut down on cost you can strip out the strut yourself and just get them to press out/in the bearing and re-fit yourself it just depends the difference in cost.i think and i emphasise think that when it gets noisier on a right turn its because youre taking the load of the fooked bearing which would be on the left.the sound coming from the front i take it?B)

Mine's in the garage right now getting this problem sorted. The front wheel bearings have to be pressed into the hub using a bench-press.

The rear bearings are a piece of **** to do, because the rear bearings are a complete hub, there's only the hub nut to remove, pull the old bearing hub off, slide the new hub on, then tighten the hub nut
