So long story, head went pop, got that sorted and put new water pump belt and tensioner on, it kept boiling over so we bypassed thermostat, wasn't that, bypassed cold start wasn't that, turns out radiator was rotten. Boil over is sorted now. Now it doesn't start when cold, eventuallt we get it going runs nasty then runs fine once warm. so instead of just replacing cold start I pulled full carb out and replaced with another one with cold start and injector already in. Now car won't start at all. Replaced with old unit and now that one won't start car either. Do these have like an immobilized on the ecu that may have locked the engine when we replaced the unit. I know saxo usually do if engine replaced and ecu not unlocked first.thanks

Some Cinq have immobiliser, some don't. It depends on the year.

If you have a basic flat metal key, there is no immobiliser.

Swapping the injector over won't have messed with that though.

Yeah sorry I keep saying carb it's the throttle, with injector and cold start on it, it's getting fuel and spark that's what has me baffled lol it was spitting flames out the top of the throttle at one point so it was igniting lol

Hi guys sorry for late reply been a lot on, but got it sorted new coil packs new it leads and a clean up on the new plugs and a jiggle on the injector plug and it fired. Thanks to everyone who replied.
