Brief but funny...my wife was in a small collision last week in her Citroen C8 which has gone to be repaired. (surface damage only)

As a hire car she was given a Vauxhall Corsa. I have always hated Vauxhalls but said nothing to she what she would think of it. Today, after 3 days in it, she asked if we could return the hire car as the Seicento is a much nicer car to drive.

So in a small competition between a Vauxhall Corsa (05 reg) with 1200 miles on the clock, and a Fiat Seicento Sporting Abarth (S reg) with 69,000 miles on the clock...the Seicento is a clear winner.

Atta boy !! :D

corsas are bland and reversing them is awful. seicentos am not to sure of but if its anything like a cinq then

yey hah

well when i took my first test in a vauxhall corsa i failed my test on all the reversing aspects.

but less than a month later in my fiat cinq i passed my test and did not get a single minor on the reversing aspects and the maneuvres

so am mainly going of my own experience and the fact corsas have a blind spot with the whopping big rear lights

beasty jay thats the first thing me and you agree on corsa's are poo

looks like the begining of a beautiful relationship

..And for the male alternative theres the Cinq

Only driven two corsas,

one heavily laden 1.0, drove aweful, no grunt, no urge, handling poor, totally uninspired

And a 1.6, same dull ride, but I thought it was quick, until I slaughtered one in the 1242 cinque the other day

how can you say reversing any small car is hard? wait till you are in the city and drive a big exec car or something similar and need to reverse park!

hey my clutch controls good. the corsa had a really high biting point and it was a diesel.

my dad trained me to use the clutch as my cinq had a lack of a handbrake at first

and am trying to make a friend applesei your not helping (lol).

(i think you secretly like corsas apple..........hahaha.......am only playing)

A workman always blames his tools ;) It obviously wasnt good enough if you failed

I learnt in a diesel too and found the clutch was a doddle and reversing is easy and it was a bigger car (renault megane)
