I had a good look at new Panda last night and it's a very good car. But, is it just me or is it lacking something? The old Panda and the Cinq and Sei both have something that the new Panda doesn't have. I can't pinpoint what it is.

Given that the new Panda has replaced the Sei and even the newest Cinqs are getting on a bit I think it's a shame that Fiat have dropped the Cento name and no Cento is in the pipeline to revive it. I know the Sei is still available in Italy, but not in the UK.

So, what does the future hold for Cento fans and ClubCento? Onwards and upwards or keep them on the road at all costs? The Sporting will be classics in a few short years so they may be worth keeping...

I'll keep mine, like it far too much as it pisses everyone off with it's gap fitting abilty and traffic sneakyness plus when other folks are on my private test track and the display says 118mph (N/A Cinq I may add!) they pull some faces!

Hilarity aside, they could become like many cars quite expensive to keep, the underside of mine has a fair bit of metal cancer which I am attending too but I would hate to see the underside of some of the early Cinqs with 100K.

Bills could mammoth the original price paid, this is where the enthusiasts will be seperated from the wimps!

As long as there are enthusiasts, they'll still go on strong. How many Fiat 500's do you see these days? Not many, but there will still be a group of people dedicated to keeping them going.

I think one good point for Cinqs / Seis is that they aren't total rust buckets like older cars, such as Minis and Metros.

I saw 4 fiat 500's last night.

I was at the ace cafe though lol...

Quite funny really. Majority of the new 500 owners will be thinking that they have bought the new version of the classic Fiat 500, when infact, they have bought a car 2 generations up from the classic 500 and are actually buying the new version of that silly boxy thing that noone can pronounce the name of :)...

Sinkiesento?
