Got my turbo back at last and iam getting it ready for stanford.
I purchased some sei abarth wheels off ebay (£50) and they could do with a refurb.But i cant decide to keep them silver or go for anthracite or somthing?
Has anyone got pics of these in another colour? My cinq is yellow so i think a dark rim would set it off a treat.

Think they'd look nice darker. I'm getting my new rims sprayed in Anthracite to contrast with me silver cinq. Getting those alloys for £50 seems a bargain

nooooo not anthracite, every tom, dick and harry are getting their wheels done in black or anthracite. how about getting them done in a shadow chrome effect?? anything but anthractie or black

I dont know if shadow chrome would suit the design of the wheel.
I admit anthracite is very common but theres a reason for that(it always looks so hard) especially on a light coloured motor.

Not to keen on the gold idea,as i dont really think this would suit a yellow motor.

Black wheels are the way forward. I had 'em before they were cool though

I'd been after a set for ages,was going to put tempra 14s on but could'nt find any.Need 14s as it spins like mad with 13s and 15s catch the gearbox

So is the cinq up forsale at stanford or are you going to keep it.
Its a tidy looking ride

dunno.. really want the sei abarths tho used to have a set but dodgy farm roads in nottingham finished those off pothole buckled an alloy and split the tyre... curbed another of the wheels too

havent seen any for sale since tbh... suprised i didnt see those!

To rub salt in the wounds they were'nt that far from you really.
They went on ebay last fri night and i was at at his door on sat morning by 9 with £50.Even the tyres are all good!

The trouble is with dark rims is you lose all the detail (shape of spokes etc)from a distance but look really good up close

i am jumping on jb's "had them before they were cool (even tho i kinda copied him!)" and saying go with anthricate... looks well mean! especially with tinted windows to complement them!

Agreed, black / anthracite should look great against the yellow.

With the bigger lump the gearbox sits further out hence the 15s i have catch on full lock.

I know of a seicentoabarth with the abarth 14's and he had the wheels painted darke grey/black and personally i think it looked absolutely **** and they look a lot better silver

If you want em different spray them deep silver then lacquer them twice then choose a colour you like such as pink and mix it with the laquer for example 3/4 lacquer-1/4 colour and spray on two coats so sometimes you will see the pink etc but sometimes you wont, just a thought
