Hi all,

I have a problem with a fiat seicento that belongs to my sister. The heated rear screen does not work (fuses and all connections to the rear screen are OK). The light illuminates on the button when it's pressed and goes off by itself after a short while but the screen does not heat up. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Also, the front screen wipers are now faulty. They only work on the fastest setting and do not return to the bottom of the screen when you switch it off.

wiper problem sounds like an issue with the parking switch iirc.

heated rear screen. have a go at cleaning the contacts on the little copper plate at the bottom of the bootlid

Best bet for the HRW is to arm yourself with a test light and trace the continuity.

On the wiper front, were they ever operated when stuck to the screen with snow? Possibly burnt tracks. Take it out, strip it and clean up.
