Both my headlamps have had the adjuster joint snapped off on the inside. Does anyone know of a breaker in northern ireland that actually has parts for a fiat seicento? or does anyone know of one in england that will ship? as they are very expensive for me to buy new currently.

Thanks

Shannon

There are threads about refurbing them, lots of the breaker and e-bay ones will be similar to yours...

I have repaired Cinq and Sei headlamps before when the adjuster has broken by using springs to hook around the headlamp, and then around the headlamp surround, this pulls it back against the adjuster and the rubber cap still fits in place

This means you can still screw the adjuster in and out to get correct alignment, but spring holds it tight so no wobbly MOT failing headlamps.

The springs I used were just ones I had in garage, but they may have been Cinq steering wheel horn springs, obvious to those who have taken off Cinq steering wheels, or something similar is RC Nitro car suspension springs, they are about same size.

I've not pictures so can't really give any more info, but it is straight forward.

Yeah pretty much, hook up to the reflector (when you take the rubber bung off and look at the reflector there are some convenient holes that a spring can be hooked round), so that it gets pulled back onto the adjuster, then hook one end of spring to the outer casing.

Its worth a try to save some money if rest of the unit is fine.
