I know this is a dumb thing to ask but how does changing your steering wheel work?

I have a non airbag cinq and want to change the wheel as it's seen better days. If I buy a momo boss will any momo wheel then fit? is it easy to get the horn working on a new wheel?

Are boses universal? I know you need it to fit the cinq at one end obviously, but is the other end a standard fitment for all wheels?

I know these seems really stupid things to ask but I can't seem to find out the answers anywhere!

Yeah I know I need a cinq boss, but do I need a momo boss? or will any boss do... ie a cheap boss i find work just as good, leaving more money for the wheel?

Thanks for the response (y)

Any tips for getting the wheel off as it's seemingly welded on with the world's tightest nut:bang:

They are well on! Get someone to hold the wheel while you attack the nut with an extension on a socket.

Don't fully remove the nut as you have to tug like mad to get the wheel off and it'll smash you in the face if it comes straight off.

First though, Alaina's tip. Centre the wheels by driving the car straight ahead before removing the wheel.
