I bought a new exhaust manifold, its not new and could do with a clean. Whats the best thing to clean it with, bearing in mind any polish will just burn off.

you dont clean them, you wrap them in that special bandage stuff

Just an idea what bout "brasso"?
im quite tempted now to not clean it.. the tarnished top layer is looking after the stuff underneath isnt it?
