Hello,

I want to send my steering wheel and gear selector knob of to be refurbished (the leather on them is peeling)

How do i remove the steering wheel/airbag?
According to eLearn i will need a special tool "1871007600 Air Bag module extraction".. from the picture they seem more like knitting needles.
Can I safely remove the airbag without the special tool? using something like screwdrivers?

How do i remove the gear selector knob ( manual 6 speed t-jet) ( could not find any reference about it in eLearn)

I bought the car with damaged steering wheel and I fixed it without removing. Bur I did remove the gear selector knob. If you need pictures or how to please send me an email.
