Been looking at the forum for a while and finally a chance to post! I've done a search for the answer already on the forum but couldn't find any for the 120bhp Bravo.

After finding my fiance is plus one we've decided to get a newer, bigger car. We've settled on a Bravo 1.9D T120, 57 Reg @ 40,000 miles.

I commute to Leeds each day (M62), around a 100 mile round trip, so MPG becomes a major factor.

Could anyone give me a quickly with their average MPG, or what I can expect from a mainly motorway commute? The trip computer on the car is showing 48mpg, which I'd be happy with.

Going to put the rest of the money down on the car in the week.

Well i cant speak for the 120, but i have a 150 sport, and on the motorway get 50 - 55 MPG @ 70 MPH. I should imagine the 120 would be around the same, maybe slighty better by 2-4 MPG

Out of interest what do you get with a 2 mile dash to the shops? Are they better than their petrol cousins as presumably they havent warmed up yet?

Well ive never seen mine below 31, and thats driving the socks off her. Doing short trips taking your time (i.e. Driving normally) you can get between 36 and 40 Well i do anyways.

i drive my car like ive stolen it and its on 39.8 mpg

I do about 80 miles a day, mainly motorway, 120hp Mjet diesel too.
Sticking to 65mph (I'm on the 5 speed box) and I get 60mpg easily.
If I drive it like crazy (with a tuning box as well), I still never see less than 40.
