hi i have a 165 bravo 09 plate..im after replacing the badges from the fiat to abarth does n e one know where i can buy them from?

I've asked this question several times and been met with ridicule, most Bravo owners think that only Abarths should wear the badge and the 198 isn't fit to wear one.

Anyway, I've trawled the net and eBay and it seems no one is producing them, there is a badge maker on eBay who is considering producing them but you'll need to contact them, username is capcoat1.

There are Punto Abarth badges for sale on eBay and I believe that with some modification the grille one fits the Bravo but no tailgate fit.................

Your local dealer could probably order one in. Not sure if it would fit in where the FIAT badge is at the moment space wise.

Ok, with a little experimentation I've found this.

Slide some fishing wire into the middle inner FIAT badge, see-saw the fishing wire from the top to the bottom of the badge, hey presto, it falls off. Clean off the sticky residue leaving a clean surface. I have now ordered Punto Abarth grille badges, I'll remove them from the holder the same way and stick them in the original holders on the car.

This should look perfect, like original Abarth badges, will post some photos up when complete.

Prototypes

Ok, here are a couple of photos, one with the badge removed and one with a prototype badge. The finished badges will have a black background and the print quality will be much better and they will be a perfect fit of course. What do you think?

Re: Prototypes

i think ill take a set :D looks mint!

can grey and black variances be made aswell....sort of silver grey and black if you get the drift?

I am working with Kevin to make them as close to the original FIAT Abarth badges that they use on the 500 and Punto, it's a shame FIAT don't use universal badge fittings and that they are all different sizes/shapes acroos the range. Luckily there are people like Kevin who can manufacture such bespoke products.

You could ask him direct for personalisation but I'm guessing once he's perfected them he'll do a run and market them on the forum and eBay but you can always make your own approach.

Production is now progressing, the final template is done as pictured below.

Kevin has said they will be £25 a set for front and rear Bravo badges, he has also manufactured quality cuff links with the same emblem for £15. I will be recieving the first presses to see if they fit perfectly, if they do then a production run will go ahead, it's all looking good!

Remember the photo quality here is only in draught mode, I will take photos in high resolution once fitted to my car.

How to remove & install guide would be great when purchasing these products...

I would love a set

so what are you planning on doing with the normal fiat caps you have on the studs on your alloys? are you able to get abarth versions of these? if so i think il buy some badges to :D

They are in the final stages of production, I should have them by Thursday, I'll stick them on my car then post up photos on here, you'll then be free to order them if you like them.
