Release keys are about £4.00 if that lol.
Plus ur abit far away from me to get a set of release keys haha.

Don't bent coat hangers work then?
iv always used flat head screwdrivers myself if i couldnt find the keys. just be careful not to damage stereo. bent coat hangers dont seem a bad idea

They use a flat type key now for this unit. prolly better off with a nail file, or just pop to the dealer and ask them to release the unit for you, i would but ur not near me.

WARNING
DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF KEY OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIC SET FOR THIS HEADUNIT(even though they might look the same).......you will bend the clips inside & have a hell of a job getting the unit out! Ask at dealer it should only cost a few cans of beer or doughnuts.

Anyone got any keys that I could borrow to remove my radio and fit an Aux cable?! I'm a cheap arse

To try and use any other key other than the official fiat ones would be a mistake. You will 99% bend the release latches within the stereo. Then you will pay top dollar for it to be removed.

i have got radio keys
Hey all, maybe its the cold weather messing with my brain but i was just wondering where u insert the keys?
is it the two horizontal holes on the head unit or do you need to insert them like at the v edge, as i cant see any clear holes there.

theres 2 holes/gaps on the left & right side of the headunit, push em in & pull basically.
OK cancel that, ive managed to remove the original stereo, i guess now its just a matter of fitting the new one.

right ive got everything out but now its a question of wiring...
