Just have a couple of questions that hopefully you guys can help me with.

1. I have mats in my car, but they move about, especially my one. Any methods of making them stick? Can you buy pins or anything?

2. My wipers are starting to get streaky, any recommendations on what type to replace them with? Done a Halfords online search and it only came up with a rear wiper.

3. My alloys always seem to get very dirty very quick with liek black stuff, my mate said it is break dust or soemthing. Anything I can put on them to help them stay clean?

4. This is my first car, and first car in the family so we are a tad car illiterate. Still have 12k until service, can I book it in for one before that? Or just like a check-up?

Think thats all, haha. Sorry for some of the totally n00bish questions. Just not that Q'd up on some details of the car yet.

Mats: Mine have holes at the back corners ans came with Achimedean screw-like devices to screw through the holes into the floor, which feels quite spongey nearest the seat.

Wipers: I think you'll be stuck with Fiat.

Alloys: Yes, it'll be break (brake) dust. There are prevention sprays, I believe.

Service: Any garage will be happy to take money off you at anytime. You can book a car in for an annual service every week.....if you can afford it.

I have Bravo´s original black carpet mats, and they have two button
kind of things, which hold them in their place. No slippin´and slidin´.

For break dust you can just buy wheel cleaner spray. That will do the
job, when you are washing your car.

Wiper blades from your local Fiat dealer, as Charnwood Fox said, but
also should be able to buy from a car market´s also. I think Bravo´s
original brand is Valeo.

Ahh thanks :), I just have cheapo mats and don't like the idea of screwing them in.

How much did the fiat mats cost? Can I just order them online? Was looking on here and followed a link to shop4parts (something like that) and saw wipers for bravos their. Will they work?

Hi,

I have genuine carpets mats and exept driver's one, they move all the time especially the rear ones ....
My Punto ones never moved, because scratch tapes.
Why didn't Fiat do the same thing on Bravo mats ?

I have cheapo mats, bought off Ebay.
They have a gravel-like finish to the underside. This eases the slipping but doesn't stop it altogether.
I have not used the Archimedean screw devices. They look too much like something the Spanish Inquisition might have used!! :D
