was just wondering if any of you t-jet guys on the bravo section have succesfully managed to fit an aftermarket BOV/Dump-valve tot here t-jet engines be it 120 or 150.

cheers, stu.

Hi mate,

Several people have done it in the Grande Punto Section, may be worth having a look over there.

Alan

lol.

ive managed to get hold of a re-circ/atmos split r forge valve.

best of both worlds.

only problem is finding a vacum line sucks. cant seem to find one or how people have done it before.

and as for it being electornically controlled the standard valve is just an actuator, no sensors involved int he valve itself. my theory is leave that one connected, blank of the entry/exit tubes on it.

and fit the forge on in its place, but i need a vacuum line to operate the diaphragm.

hey you we have looked for one, but they are very hard to find but old school says it not the best thing to put on the 150 as it is all electronic and it can cause big problems, so someone is saving for twin turbos about 2 grand LOL

Did he say what kind of problems and why? I think that an E-bov from Bonalume is a better solution then a mechanical one ( like bailey etc. ). I'm planing to fit one on my 150 soon.

fitted the forge. it works. but ive removed it now and running the standard re-circ as i found the response is much better from the standard item than a mechanical vacum operated one.

plus getting my GSR soon so no need to worry about BOV's.

Just get the GSR....

Doing this will cause nothing but problems and the induction kit gives performance and a loud dump valve like noise :)

In our tests the response time for the mechanical over electronic was immeasureable .....if you have finished with the Forge split R any chance you can send it back please

Eh? Did he borrow it or something?

And tests dont always provide real time analysis. An actual owner of a vehicle is best placed to determine things like response times as they are used to driving the car.

Could you send it out to me, I want to try 1 but dont want to splash out £££ on something i dont like, put if i do like i'll pay up for it, but if i dont like i'll send it you back.

How are forge getting on with the making of performance pants for the T-jet
