What is the best way to remover the nasty black Bump Strips. Are they just bonded on???? Or will removing them leave nasty holes to sort out?????

I think they are bonded, but they will leave a mess and may pull some paint off with them. They look quite good when painted.

Dave. :)

im pretty sure they are just stuck on.
Remove in the same way you do the badges, with hot water and plenty of time.
They sould come off ok, but may need a little t-cut to blend the colour back in.

My Dad had a 156 and it didn't get one hit in three years of parking in supermarkets and suchlike. Anyway if you do park near another car you will see that doors seam to hit well above most bumpstrips anyway.
And they look s**t too.[8D]
