I own bravo GT 1.8 16V 113 hp, and recently I realized that Fiat Coupe 1.8 16V 131 hp has the same engine, i examined it and it looks the same to me(both 1747 cc even), but it has 20 more hp, do you know what's the difference and can I make the bravo 131 hp:)

The Coupe 1.8 wasn't sold in the UK. No idea what the difference is though.

I have reasons to believe that the difference is in ECU..
Propably another programme..
Or/and
another turbo
Or/and
gas compressor

This is what comes to my mind.. Hope i helped!

There is no turbo on the 1.8 in the Coupe. Putting the 2.0 16V Turbo out the Coupe would give a bit of extra go ;)

The Coupe 1.8, the Barchetta and the Punto HGT are the same engine. The difference between the Bravo engine with 113bhp and the other 1747 is that the more powerful engine has got a cam shaft variator, which makes the head and the cams different and has got a variable length inlet manifold.
