again its the 1.2 formula. year 2000

main problem for this thread is as title

squeeking-ish/noise when clutch not pressed from cold start
if i push the clutch down the noise goes.

i let it get warm again wouldn't like to really say but it possible slightly better. but the noise is still there

looking down at the belts the noise was deffo lower or behind to the right ish poss under the car?

could it be clutch bearing? anything to worry about?
my dads truck has dont it for about a year now thinking worn clutch baring

belts make slight noise but not too worried about them as this is a separate issue im sure and will get the belts done when its properly mot`d anyway

so can i ignore this till i need a new clutch?

clutch bearing normally makes the noise when clutch is pressed, quiet when released. I have come accross the odd occasion when the bearing makes the noise as you describe, usually when it's just starting to wear. Check the gearbox oil level, if it's low the bearings can run dry.

so in other words get a gearbox oil change the only way to check will be to try put more oil in the gearbox yes?.

will checking the brake fluid tell me if the clutch oil is ok, thats worth a look i guess before it goes to a garage
