Hi all , was wondering if anyone could help a lady driver!!!!

got a fiat bravo 1.9JTD v reg and been A1 until recently

Now got white smoke from exhaust and the back box?? has started to have ticking noise?

Anyone know what this could be as started to shame me driving it as the cars behind cant see to drive cos of my smoke??
