Hi there Bravo gurus! I have a frustrating problem with my electricals.

My sidelights are working but when I select headlights or full beam they don't come on. It also knocks off my blowers, wipers, indicators, rear windscreen heater when the headlights are switched to on.

I've done all the usual checks of fuses and bulbs, and I've even had my stalk apart (cleaned contacts etc sprayed with WD40. The stalk "appears" ok to the untrained eye, ie all spring contacts seem good.

Re: No Headlights and Full beam - SORTED

sorted, it was a problem with the stalk as described on a repairing headlights guide on here which i cannot link to.

The middle pin (earth?) on left hand connector socket on the stalk had some corrosion, scraped it off and presto it cured my problem.

I damaged my yellow airbag connector in the process though. Need to find how the wiring goes on the inside, as i've soldered what i though was right but now i have continuity between the pins which i'm not sure this is how its meant to be. Might just by another horn/airbag cable if i can source one.
