i just rang my dad to see what was going on with the car cos shes been at the garage for just shy of two weeks.

he said funny you rang cos hes just stood at the garage watching shaun (the car fixing man) put the head back on!

basically it was the HG, and not injectors, or inlet valve like the AA man said... tbh i never trust what they say cos when Candice's timing belt slipped he said it was the ECU!

i spoke to Dan the other week, and he said the HG had been done about 5k ago.. but by some cowboys. the reason it went again is because the head wasnt skimmed.

so now shes all fixed and sorted again!! was meant to be coming back from uni on sunday but shifted it to tomorrow so i can get home and pick her up and finally get to drive her!!

quick update.

she should be fixed this week, i gonna go parts place tomorrow and get bits for her, so me and my dad gonna work on her at weekend, or maybe before.

HGT leather door cards are in. they went a little screwy and didnt glue properly, so when it doubt.. gaffa tape just taped the back up and they look great. will get some pics posted up tomorrow.

got abit of black leather coming to re cover the marea arm rest cos it doesnt match rest of the car.

ordered a HID kit so will fit that as soon as it comes.

got alarm and remote locking to get wired in. also need to wire in all the ICE.. been putting it off for ages but might get that done tomorrow. got 2 subs, an amp and my HU to get in. hopefully be sounding sweet after that

and uhm... what else.. oh yeah, ordered a harness for me, in black, 3 point, so get that bolted in when they arrive, couldnt afford a pair so just got one for me

just need to sort out the skate2create door sills, and the back seats are still original so doesnt go with the rest of the interior and theres some other bits i wanna do inside wise, outside is practically perfect so not really wanna touch it!

after going down the hill to autosupplies.. ended up on the phone to fiat parts dept. one of the parts i need for the bravo is gonna have to be ordered in from italy £45 aswell! for a drivers side engine mount. not impressed!

on a lighter note.. got pics of the new leather door cards





i was going to wire in the ICE today, but after the massive ho-har i had finding parts.. and the fact i didnt get out of bed till late.. its now getting dark :lol:

is that the front engine mount or the gearbox mount? Is that definatly the problem then?

the gearbox/engine mount under in the middle... is fooked, theres a good inch or so play for the engine to wiggle about when its on. so thats gonna get sorted, got that part already. the hard one is the drivers side mount.. thats attached to that metal bit.. thats not as bad but it needs sorting

yeah, on left as you look at the engine. none in stock anywhere in the UK so its an italy job

but its the bottom underneath one that i posted in the other thread thats the real problem
