I've noticed that the sweep on my front wipers isn't smooth, but jerky. It's on the up sweep from rest, and this is causing the wipers to judder a little.

I've changed the wipers, thinking the juddering was caused by that, but it's not helped, so it's something a little more in-depth.

Any pointers on this would be really useful. Maybe there's a loose part in the linkage? Wiper motor might be loose? Or could the linkage/motor need some greasing up?

Any thoughts on this would be great, as I'll probably tackle this at the weekend. If it's not raining.

I have a little play in the drivers side, but no more than on the Coupe, or any other car that I've had, so my guess is it's more to do with somethinng 'internal', like the linkage/gears/motor...
