I was waiting to pull out of my drive turning left so i put my indicator on and i was sat waiting for the traffic to clear, then the indicators stopped flashing and the green arrow stopped flashing on the dash but the stick that puts the indicator on was still down as though it was indicating left. i managed to pull out and just carried on as normal but when i put the indicator on eitha left or right, there was no indicator light lighting up and nothing on the dash saying it was on. i tested the hazard lights button and that didnt put the indicators on either, any body got any idea whats going on? it starts to work sometimes and then jst randomly stops working, all other lights work, headlights etc

also, i filled up with petrol £10 and the needle went up like usual to a quater tank thn bout 5 minutes later i looked back at it and the orange light was on to say i had low petrol. can any one help?

thanks

is the indicator problem a big thing? or is it sumthing that can be fixed easily?

what do you mean by Bravo-isim? that they are renown for doing it?

thanks for your help!

The fuel needles have never been accurate. I can do 400 miles on the first half a tank in my JTD - then about 100 on the last half!

As for the indicators. If it is the relay then it's a simple change of the relay by opening the fuse/relay box (next to drivers right knee) and taking out and replacing. Your user maual should show which relay to check.

Changing a breaker is a piece of cake - you need to take the lower cover of the steering column off. Once at that you'll se a blue cube - that's the breaker/relay.

If you feel confident in using a solder gun you might try touching the solder points inside the breaker to repair them fiorst (they simply oxidate with time).

Otherwise just go get a new one and replace it.

"Crazy" fuel gauge is a known and unrepairable (at reasonable cost) issue.

thanks for all your help i may have a look at the relay thing

thanks again

Actually relay for indicators is under steering column, take off covers around ignition and look underneath, you'll see blue box, this is it! Can replace without removing steering wheel. Cost of relay about 11 quid...

Went to local scrappers yesterday, found a fiat marea and got that relay out, the bloke let me have it free of charge :D problem solved!
