Hiya thanks for recommending everyone.

Sadly i carnt match the prices suggested here, but then you get what you pay for with bodywork! A perfect finish and match first time around.

Hmmmm, so are you saying for £100 the job wont be as good as yours?

We have built many concours show winners ie jensons and old fords ect, all our work is to the same standard, if sombody is on a budget they dont get the work done simple as.

So that makes your prices to high(n)

woah, lets not go down this road:mad:

Think what you like, 1/2 litre of the paint we use is 55 pounds thats without 2k primer, thinners laquer etc so we spend 70 in materials. (reciepts always kept for customers to see, and all old coloured paint for future matching)

Then there is firing the oven twice once for primer to stop any sinking and once for the finish! Gas in that quantity isnt cheap.

So of course we carnt compete with someone using the likes of Jawel or autopaint int. trading from a shed with no oven.

Its up to the customer as to what they want in the long run.

We know where not the cheapest, but you dont have to be as people look for differnt things.

Shed lol

Our bodyshop is 20 car unit/building with a burntwood low bake oven and a dupont mixing scheme(y)

You buy your paints in dude so your bound to have higher costs and charging for the firing of the oven is a joke, from your user name you sound like a main dealer which are always rip of merchants lol

Anyway my rant over:p

lol so you dont consider your costs/expenses when doing a job???
If you use something on a job it has to be paid for. unless you use a heatgun to keep costs down?????
So who pays for the consumables etc????

I aint gona carry on at you, pointless, our customers are perfectly happy i can admit were dearer than alot on bodywork but we would rather not do the work than cut costs to match inferior standards, like using wrong base/materials and heatguns.

Im sure if someone wants to scrimp and save there are people out there cheaper!

Metro_vvc we don't have slating here unless its from personal experience of using someones service. you put your price and what you give, others can put their price and what they give, the proof is in the pudding, midland fiat is not a main dealer, he is an independent who is following the right procedure to advertise on the site. ie contacting the staff to ask if its ok.
