Hi all, just to ask( i been reading these posts but unclear), i want to spray a onyx chassis after its been cleaned and new floor welded in, so whats the best paint to use, not after a concourse finish just protection really.

i have a small compressor(no gun) but i presume a gravity fed spray gun is best.

if this turns out ok then gonna try and paint the GRP body(presume thats fibreglass speak lol) so can anyone advise to the process of painting this type of material.

painted the bottom half of a metro in me front garden once and i did a good job...lasted for ages with volvo beige ?lol

just gathering a work book of information for when i start the resto this weekend.

PS, have my own garage but will need to plastic liner it before spraying, but dusty ya see.
