i'm really not sure why that handbrake is so important... last time i use it was last winter when i got stuck in parking for a week until it defrost. (and few weeks ago when my sister pull that lever to the last teeth, if freeze again) :bang:

i'm not sure how other cars have this, like my boss's Renault have automatic handbrake when he stop the car... they probably manufacture barchettas only in summer so this "bug" was not found...

The theory is you can use it to stop if the foot brake fails.

However I would worry if it was the only brakes I had!
