have to agree with Robot... but, just asking... can you freely personalize plate as you like... for example: "Mr Wayne" or there have to be some pattern like: W00-L1T3...

Well yes and no.

1st of all not all letters are available.

L can be a starting letter but not in the next sequence as it could read 1.
Zero "0" not O.
Q only for Kit Cars or cars that have some kind of major Mod.
I does not appear.
U As it looks like V (Apperently)

So they are the letters you can not use. UK is one of the rare countries that makes a fortune on licence plates. I had "BOY 38H" valued at £2k.

"BMW 320" (100K was offered by BMW)

Irish plates for example "DAZ 5745" take the age of your car in the UK and go for as little as £40. then you pay the DVLA £80 to transfer it. People use theses to take the age of the car. The Uk plates show the year it was licenced for the road. Big business in the UK.

Some people try and space the letters to make something out of it. I personally don't like theses but good luck to those who do. You can be charged 3k for an incorrect spaced plate.

All a matter of personl taste.

"T1 TTY"saw this one on a strippers car. (Stag do)

R30GUE is on retention at the moment and i am considering whether its worth selling one or the other........i did prefer having R30GUE on the car rather than my name and initial :D:D

Personalised plates are a stupid, childish and pointless waste of time and money .... here are mine. The letters PEA are the first 3 letter of my last name.

Hiya, Kiry,

So you put the Kiry plate on then. :D

Must say i would have liked to have kept that one. Will be worth some moneys in the future. Shorten the J and it becomes KIRY 1

All the best , Kiry
