I know it's a bit later on but I brought this little Jem runs Mint had to do a few bits like change pink bits . Water pump, timeing belt, alternator and good service

1242 16V: Probably the best engine Fiat ever built. I have had a 2000's Punto 1242 8V, a real piece of s**t!! Not fast, unreliable, just good on fuel.

Now on my Punto Bertone born 2 years before, I have the 16V. High rev, excellent pull, silent, good on fuel. Never had a problem since I bought the car.

1.6? Does it exist? A dream for the petrol sellers, a nightmare for the car's user.

It was an N/A version of the Delta Hf engine and with the right bits you can triple the 90bhp it left the factory with. I had a Delta Hf powered Uno Turbo and X/1-9. In the right platform the engine is very capable.

I've put all the best bits of the FIRE engine range together in my red Panda. 1368cc block, 1108cc head, Punto 75 cam' and so on. Some day I'll see if it works. :)

blu, I have a 1581 ELX90 engine for sale, 83k, was going fine, c/w all necessary bits, ECU etc
