Panda (Classic) Mk1 4x4 Madagascar!

Nice one, I had just checked on ebay and missed this! I didn't know they had a special edition of the 4x4 either. Could possibly be a personal touch thats been added though but perhaps someone with on here knows for sure?

£750 might be a bit high for a starting bid, but they are pretty rare so maybe someone will go nuts...will be watching this.

Also, it has the cool red 4x4 stickers that chichi has!! They look so cool I think, :slayer:

These don't come up too often - low miles too!

Condition of panels not great but a great find none the less. Not sure about the starting price either, bit high and might put people off...that said, it's a 4x4 and people seem to go nuts for them!:)

I imagine this would need alot of work to get it into decent condition, that waxoil could be hiding all sorts of horrors, those pictures dont show any of the rust prone areas either and once you start poking at the bodywork you'd probably end up with more than a few holes.

I'm pretty sure I read something about a madagascar edition, can't remember where though, I think it is a proper Fiat edition though.

This car is in great condition for its age - if you want me to post more photos of "rust prone areas" let me know and I'll post tomorrow. Wax oil been on since new - it's just been kept indoors a lot and not driven a huge amount.

Don't go out of your way to post any pictures, I was perhaps making some assumptions, very hard to tell without actually seeing it in the flesh.

Are those decals a dead ringer for those on goodgirls 4x4

Yeah, they were a standard decal for mk1's but not all of them. some mk1's (inlcuding my white mk1) came with the new type 4x4 (parallelogram shape). These ones look great though but are very hard to replace and I ended up making my own in the end using a rubbing and some red vinyl.

Also, defo be good to post some pics up. Looks like the bodywork has gone in all the usual places. Places of real interest when it comes to these though is the scuttle beneath the windscreen and rear arches. The seam inside the rear arch under the plastic arch liners is another prone area. I'd check behind the front bumper too as the front panel can disappear quite quickly and completely out of site!!

Hope it goes to a good home though, nice to see them coming out the woodwork all of a sudden. :slayer:

Look forward to seeing some more pics maybe, does look good underneath I have to admit. Only the bodywork that seems to suffer on these really.

I've relisted this on ebay because the person who bid on it never got in touch, if anyone is interested in buying it take a look!

Hey, sorry to hear it. Their loss, missing out on a pretty cool car. Rare enough to have a mk1 4x4, let alone a special edition.

Here is a new link for everyone:

Mk1 panda 4x4 - Madagascar

Hope it sells!
