Yeah I've been meaning to get round to selling them for a while. That way it takes away the temptation of putting them back in the car! Looking at getting a new car in he next few months so just trying to sell off a few bits.

Will they fit the 1.4 engine?

They will fit into the engine but I would contact GSR to confirm if they will run properly.

I have replied via ebay. I personally don't know the details on the cams, they we're custom designed by GSR for the 1242 16v engine whilst i was doing development work with them. Maybe Peter can shed some light as to what profile was put on them.

Hmmm, I haven't thought about selling the parts separately yet. As a lot it makes quite good scope for upgrading everything all in one hit.

How come you seem to be breaking your car? 119hp outa the sporting is pretty good going!

I'm aiming to get a new car in about 4 months, so just trying to tidy up what i'm not using. The car is still 119bhp, it was never RR'd with the cams in place. I'd like to have finished the job off properly and had it mapped after I fitted them, I know it would have seen a very good increase on the RR.

I'd have a bid, but quite like the standard torque characteristic of the standard cam, plus rest of engine is maxed out so don't want to make it too extreme.

A very worthy upgrade for someone though. From GSR i'd guarantee a good product.

Yes, as they are GSR items i'm surprised that they didn't sell quicker. Well hopefully they will go this time. Still 1 day left to run!
