General 500c Abarth? Any evidence?

Targeting the ghey market?

Why I hear you say? Who else would want to be bent over and shafted?

Not saying the A500c is a reasonanbly priced car in the first place but its only about £700 more than similarly specced 500c 1.4 lounge dual logic...

Just received a high-res PDF brochure with some stunning pictures of the A500C, might just have secured a deal with me! :) Here are a few, low res to save space!

Great pix. Nice little car: and the price?
Price starts at £17,500, bit more for the twin tone paint. The 500C and 695 use the C510 gearbox from the 500, but with the additional MTA 'module'. The 695 does, however, use different electronics for a faster/better change. Doesn't have the Multi air engine yet, but emissions are lower (151g) but 0-60 time is 8.1 secs, tad slower than a normal A500. Power is up by 5hp!

Power up by 5bhp and a slower 0-60. Like I said they had to add a but of weight to keep the car stiff.

And not even the Multiair yet

This little car is for seriously rich must-have-it-now!!!! folk.
Sorry, but it's a handbag.

I've just had an idea :p

First time I see one of these disgraces I'll either

Ask them where they got the bodykit from and how good mpg do they get from the 1.2 engine?

OR

Tell them that I love their Mini (y)

No the Tributo is for the seriously rich, it's almost double the price! The A500C is in my opinion pretty good value.

Only when compared to the massively overpriced 695. Compared to everything else in the real world it's overpriced.

That is your opinion though, show me a convertible for around this price with all the options it has. I know you don't like the way it looks (why i don't know, it's a 500 with a big sunroof!?) but to me, the looks sell the car alone, there are no other convertibles i would want to own. Astra? Tigra? Megane? Micra? NO TA! :p

If I wanted something quick without a roof I'd buy a PROPER convertible like an MX5
