Hello,

Well I'm back again...I have installed a full custom fabricated stainless-steel exhaust system and it's been on the car for 6-7 months. The MPG of the car has dropped to 26 MPG! YES....26....

Not sure if this is true but people are saying the ECU is used to the old exhaust and it's air and fuel combination, maybe I need to reset the ECU or Re-Map it?

Any ideas?

I doubt that just the exhaust would be responsible.

Hmmm....any other ideas? Considering the car is stock....and nothing else has been changed? I drive to school everyday which is a 20 mile round trip on dual carriageways a day but other than that it's not driven much.

It's not raced about so i'm not sure it's my driving, just trying to find out the problem; the fuel gauge is very temperamental however the MPG was fine before I acquired the exhaust.

Phoning R-Tec St Albans tomorrow, which is where the exhaust was fabricated.

They haven't ballsed up one of the Lambda sensors have they?

Not sure really....they said it's not the exhaust -.-

As Mandy said: "they would say that, wouldn't they?"

If the eml isn't on, I'd suspect binding brakes or stuck open thermostat, but............
