The BLUE&ME TomTom is based on the tomTom 750/950 and because of the differences in the connections (my 730T uses a mini USB) I wasn't able to dock mine otherwise I would have gone the cradle route.
Having said that the BLUE&ME unit is as comphrehensive as it's TomTom counterpart with the benefits of being able to show car related info on the screen and the media player functions can be controlled by the unit.
If you do get one TomTom Home doesn't support some of the functions that it does on the standard TomTom as yet and the free map upgrade wasn't recognised as being available to download. In the end the TomTom support (oxymoron?) guy made it available for me in my account.
One tip, don't use your existing account if you already have one but start another with a different email address or that will cause probs as well.
