Hi, and welcome to me.

I'm from Denmark and bought a 1,2 Lounge 2 weeks ago. Because of our insane taxes on cars in Denmark, I didn't add any extras to the car.

But I've been thinking about going to Germany for a couple of days, since the prices are much lower there. A good example is the Xenon lights, which are priced at 2100 Euro in Denmark, and therefor I didn't even consider them, but I see they are "only" 700 Euro in germany. In general all the extras are between 1/2 and 1/3 of the price in Denmark.

But do any of you know, if the prices on the Fiat price lists are the same, if you add for example the Xenon lights after the purchase? Or are these prices only valid if added from the factory?

Bonus question. When trying the "random" play on B&M, it randomly selects ONE song, and after that it just continues playing on the normal order. Anybody else have that problem?

Xenon's are a factory fit option only... in fact, quite a lot of the options are factory fit only (climate control, esp etc) so if there are any that you are looking to get, you should contact whoever you want to buy them from first to see if it is possible.

For UK versions, to play anything and forever you can say play anything and put repeat on.

I had a feeling that would be the case.

Well, I'll contact them in case I decide to have something added. But Xenon and Climate was two of the primary things I wanted to add.

Thanks.
Playing everything and forever works fine. My problem is the 'random' feature or shuffle play. When I choose random it will randomly pick one song, say number 17. But after that it will just continue with 18-19 etc. Normally random would mean that it continued playing randomly, like 3-17-4-19 etc.

Ah! Well... if shuffle is on then that shouldn't happen... have you said 'shuffle on' to the Blue&Me woman?

No, haven't tried talking to her. I'll try that and see if it works better.

Just picked up my 2 GB Fiat 500 USB Memory from the dealer. So I'll put some music on it, and then test it again.

That worked for some reason. If I choose random in the menu, I have the problem as described, but if I tell the nice lady "shuffle on" then it works like it should.

Unfortunately the kind lady dosn't want to listen to me while I'm driving. She don't understand any commands at all. I thought maybe it was because of the road noise, but I realised the poblem is also there when I'm stopped (with engine on). As soon as I stop the engine, she understands everything. Ah well, gonna do some more tests.

Ah, just found out what my problem is. Theres both a 'Random' and a 'shuffle' feature.

When I go to menu/media player/random then it randomly selects one song, but after that continues in the normal order.

When I go to menu/settings/media player/shuffle then it's the real shuffle play, that I want.

I hadn't noticed the real shuffle setting before, so I had been using the random feature.

Thanks.

Hey guys, i just went through the japan brochure for the 500 and found about some red headrest covers not included in the UK brochure. Part number 51028538. Any ideas where to get them from?

Re OP's question, I strongly doubt it would be legal to retro-fitted xenons, they are potentially extremely dangerous (fire/shock/dazzling) and I would think quite a bit of testing/certification would be required.

Climate I would think could be - if you were willing to pay for the dash to be completely removed to fit a motorised air box, that is.
