They're just a normal 500 with some slightly different exterior/interior trim and some other options. Driving experience would be much the same as in a normal 500.

passed a lovely brown 500 byDiesel today ........looked really good, but is it worth paying the extra
You get more as 'standard' don't you? i just don't like the bits they have on it - like the fake grill at the back. Colors are gorgeous though!

I've got a green 1.4 and I'm glad I did. Although some of the exterior trim is maybe a little in your face on the website it is more subtle in the flesh. I was a bit worried before I picked it up and even considered replacing some of the trim with chrome trim but it's not bad at all.
The interior is nice, shame the seats aren't leather but the alloy-look dash panel instead of body colour is a nice touch.
It's surprising how much of a different overall feel it has to my wife's BNW Pop 1.2.

I have to agree with you mate, i have a black one. catch a lot of people looking at it. I just bought it as its looks a bit more manly than the other 500's (except abarth).
Great fun to drive, the seat collect fluff thou. nice touch is the yellow speedo i think.

I've also ordered a Black by Diesel and is due around October time. It stands out so much more than a normal one (IMO) when I saw one at the dealers and is looks more 'manly'.
Pity about the lack of leather, but hey......it looks great!

Agreed, it is a lovely looking car... And the premium isn';t that much if you look at the options that come as standard.
Having said that, my car is being shared with the missus, and although she loved the colour she thought some of the detailing was a bit OTT.
As usual it's a whole personal opinion thing, but I really think the ByDiesel is a great edition.
