Well as the title say's, went shopping with my better half today, came to a stop at a round about, unfortunately, the person behind us didnt stop and went straight into the back of us :(
We got out of the 500 expecting tons of damage to the rear - not a single scratch  Nothing!!!
Ive reoprted it to the insurance company, cause i stil want her looked at incase theres some damage underneath that we cant see, but to be honest she looks fine! Im really suprised! Stil a little gutted and little achey - so il keep you all informed and let you know how she in the week once she's been looked at by Fiat.

Aww mate, thats a nightmare. YOure right to get it checked out and if you ar achy then it is very important you reported it as you did. As you never know how it could effect you down the line. (I had a whiplash in 2000 which didnt show itself fully for about a wekk when suddenly i could barely move)

Hope all works out well.
Take care

Jonathan

Get the whiplash claims out! :D

Only joking, at least you and the car are 'OK', as that's all that matters. The 500 is a tough little thing, I reversed mine into a barrier once and it was fine, just the tow eye cover had popped out!

oh poor Bella! Give her a loving pat from us.
and poor you - do take care of yourself over the next few days as whiplash can take over a week to surface. keep moving so you don't seize up but equally don't do anything strenuous until you know you haven't got any whiplash.

thinking of you:)

Thanks chick.
I was having a few aches and pain not long after it happened, so Mikey took me to the hospital - we both have wiplash, so we're sitting here feeling sorry for ourselves.
But we're ok though - could have been a hell of a lot worse.
thanx all xxx

I hope it will be alright. In INDIA, we do it the curry style LOL !! We go to the insurance company later before that we teach the person who crashed a lesson !! LOL Just kidding

To be fair, the people who crashed into me were really nice - i felt really sorry for them - i got out of the car really pissed off, but when i seen they're faces, all was forgiven, i told them it wasnt a problem, that accidents happen, but i would need they're insurance detail's inscase there WAS somthing wrong as the car was only 2 months old - they were very nice people. Turns out my step dad works with the men driving the other car! Its a small world lol.

I got my GP ran into the rear at a junction with 17 miles on the clock, a lot of scratches but nothing major, then 8 monthes later, same junction same type of collision but harder and really wrecked the bumper and gave me whiplash too.

Me thinks it gets the (n)

Not wanting to be to much of a miserable old git, but it sounds like the 500 gave your poor protection (from whiplash etc). What speed did it happen at roughly? What was it that hit you?

Glad there are no serious injurys though. (y)

Jon.

It was a 51 plate Vectra that hit us - like i said we feel fine, we've been told we have wiplash but we only feel a little achey, see how we are tomorrow
