OK, there's a few of us now so who fancies a meet, somewhere Southern (for us Southern pansies).

Was thinking of the New Forest somewhere, could take footballs, cricket sets, frisbees, let the kids run wild if you have kids.

Could also have a BBQ & the National Motor Museum is down there too.

Some time late August (on a Saturday) would be good.

Good idea for a venue, just one thing as I live that way. The campsites and picnic areas etc will be rammed solid with people, there are just two areas in the New Forest where you can have BBQs and both will be booked by now for August... Although a lovely setting the Forest can be quite uncomfortable in high summer and dont forget late August will be a bank holiday weekend too.

Well it was that or Studland Bay somewhere, which will be equally busy!!!!

Was oping maybe to catch the last of any good weather we may get, but you are right, it does get busy in that area in the Summer (I used to live near Sandbanks whish was the same).

Perhaps make it early/mid September then, open to suggestions.

Just remember through, FF is showing at Trax on the 7th September and Auto Italia Gaydon on the 14th September :)

Oh, and then we have the FF weekender from the 19th September onwards :slayer:

To be honest, for us Sothern poofs Skeggy is probably a bit far anyway
Well, we did our 4th annual meet last year in Minehead :)

We get a few people from the South West / Wales coming over to Skegness. That's the beauty of having it over 3 nights.

Anyway, we are digressing, just pointing out that dates may be clashing with other events :)

Count me in! (+1 adult +1 child) The date is not so important to me as we can do most Saturdays or Sundays, but I will need to know date by the end of June if it is to be last two weeks in August (prior arrangements need to be moved). New Forest sounds good, but as somebody already said, the designated BBq areas might be full. Any chance of making it only a picnic? Is that going to widen the choice of places that might be free? (nobody bring their lighters, torches or flame throwers!:D)

a meeting in sceggy sounds good when is it as am only an hour and halfs drive from there would love to fetch my 500 for a day out (y)
Skegness weekender details here:

I think it is costing me around £50 or so, for 3 nights, in a self-catering room - sharing with Jai, Gaz, Gazzaman and Gary lol. Loads to do - and also very family friendly as well; first time in 2004, I took the wife and kids :)

20th September sounds good for an Indian summer. Also hopefully a few more of us will have our cars by then.;)
