Re: USA Fiat 500 better than Europe
Have you tried a 2010 500?
Soft, hard, whatever. Our model isnt that fantastic IMO.

Well yes but in that case surely the euro version is better from a european perspective.
I'd also say larger cup holder would just mean our cups fall about and spill over so USA Fiat 500 worse than Europe would be a better thread title unless your in America?
I also personnally dont think the colours are better but that's personal preference.

they are getting as an option a 6 speed automatic transmission?
Because it's got the new 1.4 MultiAir 16v engine
It's just marketing at the end of the day, different country, different people, different economy, different ways of marketing. The idea is to make people want to buy something and people desire different things in different countries for various reasons.
Italian names for colours is neither here nor there. Anyone that chooses whether to buy a car or not just based on the fact that the colours have Italian names is a bit of a plonker really.
Actually its got alot to do with the engine itself. The awful dualogic semi-auto must be crap for the multiair engine, so a new 6 speed auto is an option. Obviously its more efficient whether Americans like it or not.
Anyway, some of us launched the 500 to the American's in 2008 lol
*sigh*
Yes I'm so sad in my life that I wait on this forum pressing F5 to find a person I can post to disagree with
