just as i seen the last reply with pandas in the pics , it minds me of the day i went to buy a 126 to restore , when the man opened the garage he had 5 fiat pandas 1 was done up as an american police , 2 2cv s 1 owner x19 and the 126 , bought the 126 took some parts of it and sold it to a friend which he is restoring owen nw

looks messy but looks good when the tapes taken of and makes for a tidy seam when painted owen n w

Could I ask what you fill the seams with as I have hairline cracks in the paint and lacquer on mine ! Not sure if it is worth tackling ?

first fills are done with a mix of p40 pre mixed fibre glass mixed with standard filler 50% 50% sets like kevlar and flexible and very easy to rub , also perfect for filling out a dent as it does nt sag like straight filled, then mask either side of the seam then brush in seam sealer , when i have it done i run my finger up the seam to smooth it then peel of the masking paper straight away owen nw (y)
