Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Compression Hi, I have a 1975 124 spider. It has been sitting for about 2 yrs. It idles rough and I can't seem to even it out. I did a compression test and I got 130 on all 4 cylinders Is this good or bad? What is average compression on these cars? Thanks Peter

Posts: 21 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Compression I dont know what the average compression is...but I have a 1979 Fiat Spider, and the compression is about 120-130 all the way around. Are you sure the spark plug wires are connected to the right plug? I had a 1963 VW Karmann Ghia, and the wires were all scrambled up and I had a crappy idle. Only like 2 of the cylinders were firing.
