Just been looking at the current choice of Bravo models on Fiat's website, as mine is a company car and will reach it's mileage limit in the next 6-8 months...
What the farkin' 'ell has happened? When I ordered mine you could go for just about any engine in any trim level (although of course they didn't bother listing top engine with bottom trim or vice versa).
Now it seems you can only have the big diesel in Sport trim; if you want a diesel Dynamic it's either the 105bhp 1.6 with a manual 'box or the 120bhp coupled to a Dualogic. And the 150bhp T-jet has disappeared completely!
This makes things awkward for me, as I'd hoped to just replace my car pretty much like-for-like with a 2.0 Dynamic, but if it doesn't exist... Sport is no good as it lacks a lot of the luxury features of the Dynamic (e.g. dual-zone climate control) and also costs a lot more on the company car scheme than the Dynamic would have cost back when it still existed! And I don't much fancy downgrading to a 120bhp or 105bhp motor either.
Sooo... is this just a temporary measure until Fiat have released the facelifted Bravo, or will it never again be possible to have the top-spec Bravo with the beefiest engine? (If this is the case then I may have to turn to the dark side to get the desired combination of potent diesel engine + all the toys on a sensibly-priced deal... and I do mean dark... how dark? "Four rings" dark )
