Styling want to change bumpers on five door GP...can it be done?

Hi all, the mrs has got a fiat GP 2007 plate, she's had it for four years but now it is in need of a little spruce up.

this is how it looks at the moment:

Although the wheels are looking more like this these days:

She's going to NY for five days in a couple of weeks and in that time i want to transform the car. firstly, going to get the car wrapped in pearl white vinyl. i think the dash board will follow suit with some pearl white vinyl, it looks a little dark in the there at the moment.

What i need some advice on is what i can to to the exterior. it's a five door, so i'm not sure if that limits me in terms of swapping bumpers etc. what i want to do essentially is get it looking like an abarth, but is this possible due to the fact its a five door.

i need some inspiration!

also want to change the rear light clusters for later ones, this i think should be pretty straight forward.

any suggestions/help will be very much appreciated

The bumpers on 3 door and 5 door Grandes are exactly the same (unlike the ones from the Mk2 Punto).

Should be a straight swap if you're after Abarth bumpers

Abarth bumpers are a straight swap ? Thought they were slightly wider than standard Grande bumpers...?...

You would think that but check out the t-jet abarth replica thread just a little further down

They are wider the front one should go on ok but you would also need the arch trims


but then not sure how they would finish at the bottom against your sporting side skirts.

The rear lights would need some DIY butchary as the Evo lamps are LED (sidelights) and so need a resistor

thanks guys, some really useful information

i don't mind getting the entire kit i.e. front/rear bumper, wheel arch trims and side skirts if it means that it will look the part.

next question is where to buy all of it? main dealer only? ebay isn't coming up with anything.
