Cinquecento VAD Hi Boost Cinq Turbo. Lots of photos warning!

Introduction

Lastest pics of my turbo cinq, its got brand new Weitec suspension 40mm drop (first kit in the UK the company told me). Oil catch tank is now fitted.
Also Had the central pillar done in black vinyl.
Fitted in the last month.... Uno inlet manifold and 38mm throttle body, gives it a bit more power and seems smoother.
Enjoy!

Foxyemx, is that nitrile braid from the catch tank rubbing on that blue fuel? hose. I suggest getting some of that split electrical wrap like they have on the loom, and putting that over the area where it may rub. Nitrile braid cuts through anything given time esp rubber and aluminium.

Well done on the use of alloy swept fittings there are seriously expensive compared to their steel counter parts, it looks well put together from the pictures.

Yes don't worry its all been moved around now so nothing is rubbing, that was at trial fit stage, so it all been revised now! :)

looking good, just read the RR stats as well, what is the engine mods run down btw.

the only gripe i have and its certainly not down to you, its just a mere observation and that is the hose clips - you would of thought someone could have come up with a discrete way of fixing silicon hoses to stuff or at least devise different colours!

nice work, i'm a big fan of subtle.

Update on my cinq, recently bought some new alloys, some OZ Racing F1 14x6 fiat fitment, these are discontinued, so rare, i had to have them when i saw the yellow writing on them ;)
Came with tyres, but are completely the wrong size, looking at 195 45/14 toyos or uniroyals not sure yet.

Here is the trial fit,

Also had fitted some Recaros out of a Suzuki Ignis,

Nice set of rims there, will look cool as when they got lower profiles on (y)
Gonna let us know what happening to bumpers or do we have to wait???

Seats are perfect, sporty but not over the top

Still don't like that bump strip though i have to say, saw some in the flesh t'other day for the first time and they a big no no for me. But so long as you like them i guess.

Well just doing some cutting out of the original bumper to get even more air in, found some black mesh thats as long as the bumper so no joins! Then it needs a respray because the lacquer is peeling off:bang:
Really i want the abarth aprons, but just can't get hold of any at the mo :(

Never said i liked the bump strips lol, but they have been on there a long time
and the thought of removing them scares me, as it could ruin the door  I had this dilemma with my previous cinq with the red writing down the side!

Thanks for your comments everyone (y)

As Jamie has said the car runs a full Weitech Ultra GT suspension kit 40/40mm drop http://www.weitecsuspensions.co.uk/uk/products/suspension_uk.htm which we believe was first Cento in UK to run it as Emma bought it instead of FK as the UK FK importer had just seen it at Essen show and was very impressed so did it for a good price to be part of his first order, been really impressed with it, I know the VW's boys rate it very highly.

You can see the differance between it and the Sei which has standard shocks but 35mm lowered H&R springs, the space between the fronts wheel is less than the Sei even though it has slightly lower profile tyre 195/45 14 V's 185/50 14

LOL yeah we managed 0.9G cornering round a mini-round-about

I missed out on it on eBay last time by £150 :( from the guy I sold it to, it's still showing as tax till November this year and must have just been noted as it's motd until 12 June 2015
