Cinquecento VAD Hi Boost Cinq Turbo. Lots of photos warning!

Introduction

Lastest pics of my turbo cinq, its got brand new Weitec suspension 40mm drop (first kit in the UK the company told me). Oil catch tank is now fitted.
Also Had the central pillar done in black vinyl.
Fitted in the last month.... Uno inlet manifold and 38mm throttle body, gives it a bit more power and seems smoother.
Enjoy!

Before black vinyl was done:

Agree with Mase im not fussed on the bumpstrip either, but since you have had the pillars done they seem to go with the car abit better.

What about a yellow strip on there instead of silver, that might work better.

Looks good, needs real wheels and mirrors mind (loath sei stuff on cinqs :)). Agree with the get rid of the strip thing, and that suspesnion looks awesome, i want some

great looking car mate, with a light tint on the windows it would give the effect of one long window after getting the vinyl on the B-pillars.,.,

Lol the car has come a long way since I saw it last for sale on a car sales front lot in Banbury!!

I came close to buying it, but being a student didn't have the time/cash involved on top of my car to sort it properly.

Glad you gave her the tlc she deserved, looks good.

Fantasatic, enjoyed reading the build up of it and knew it was gonna be a lovely car.. A complete subtle monster (y) In agreement with the consensus about bumpstrips but i think your right it'd look better colour coded, and sets your car apart from the rest a bit which is always good. Love the B-pillars, been meaning to do that myself for ages but haven't got round to it yet. And those seats are just car porn!! The one thing i suggest is getting another ornamental gasket thingy on the front passenger side to balance it out.

ps. Is that some cool headlight covers i can see there?? look liek the ultra rare ones for uno's like dunc has, not seen any on a cinq before!!

:yum: Love it, to be honest i read the start of the build up thread but then stopped coming back to the forum as was on clublupo all the time with the arosa;) but its come out damn well:D

If it was mine (damn shame it isnt;) ) then id have abarth front and rear aprons, graphite grey ornamental gasket either side and matching strip in the side strips then graphite grey alloys not dark just subtle but its near perfect as is and if it goes as well as it looks then your on to a winner:yum:

now slightl offtopic but where did you get your catch tank from and where is the braided pipe from the top going to:confused:

I actually have another ornamental gasket, lol just haven't fitted yet as its an orange one

I didn't know the headlight covers were particulally rare, thought they might be a dealer option or something, as my first yellow cinq came with them on and it was a demo car. They have the word FIAT on them which i haven't seen on other ones. The ones i have seen have small Abarth stickers on them.

PS... thanks for all your feedback will be taking it into account(y)

The light covers are cinq ones from Fiat. I bought some from my local dealer not so long ago and you get the option of the Fiat or Abarth logo. The Abarth ones are more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Rich.

I'd very much like to have the full abarth kit on it, its just finding one thats the problem preferably already yellow!

I got the oil catch tank off ebay for £30 ish! The braided pipe is feeding into the inlet system, as per MOT requirements.

I don't know if they are rare for a cinq, i never seen any though, but from that pic they look just like Dunc's but for a cinq not an uno obviously, i know uno ones are rare and sure one day these will be too if not yet so keep hold of them is my point really..

Foxyemx, is that nitrile braid from the catch tank rubbing on that blue fuel? hose. I suggest getting some of that split electrical wrap like they have on the loom, and putting that over the area where it may rub. Nitrile braid cuts through anything given time esp rubber and aluminium.

Well done on the use of alloy swept fittings there are seriously expensive compared to their steel counter parts, it looks well put together from the pictures.
