Hi,

I know a lot of you on this forum like to use www.camskill.co.uk to get your tyres, and I'm looking to do the same, as I find that they have great prices. However, before I make an order I need to find somewhere that will fit tyres that they didn't sell themselves, because it seems that every garage I ring up says they won't fit the tyres unless they are sold by them, and then often want to charge me £30 more per tyre! (Cheapest I've found was £22 more per tyre) :bang:

So my question is, what do all of you do when you get your tyres in the post? And how much do you pay to have them fitted?

backstreet garages would be best bet. not franchised buisnesses.. i would go for £15 a corner to fit and balance

I've never used them, but have you tried a small independent garage? Might be worth a try.

If your in and around town try tyne tyres down by Tynemouth fishquay, fitted, balanced etc. was around £40 if I remember right

got a local furrows dealership? pop around to the parts counter and get your tyres from there, that's what i do locally

also around here fit a tyre and balance is a tenner

Just to clarify it was £40 for all four tyres fitted and balanced, and they ain't fallen off yet
