Temperature changes is unlikely to do anything to it this time a year, so I'd rule that out - however a bump in the road could still do damage, so I'd get it fixed asap :)
Or at least cover it with one of those fancy stickers, to stop dirt getting in ;)

no. competition is high ring another (independent) repairer

Bloody think cracked on the way home from work this evening

Oh well, thats £75 to hit the wallet. Is it a danger to leave it? The car isn't due an MOT for 18 months and its not in field of view

I'll get it changed then. TBH I'll probably put it though the insurance, I'm going to have fun I think as the OEM Toyota screen has a special rain-x like coating, but doubt their normal pattern parts do, and apparently getting them to install it properly so you don't get ghosting on the Head Up Display can be a ball ache also :(

I have a friend who is a local (to Norwich) automotive glass specialist, you could always give him a ring, (total windscreen solutions 07747891300) he does a lot of super cars and motor sports cars as well as all the usual stuff, so should be able to help and advise on oem screen v patent parts costs and insurance

Cheers Andy, will give him a bell at some point in the next week or so, flat out with things currently, and as its already cracked its no longer a major rush to prevent it from going, so will give him a call when I've got some free time :)

Who is the target demographic of live pentecostal worship on between 10 and 11 on a sunday? The obvious answer would be church goers...but for some reason I suspect they aren't in the house at that time..

Ok heres a question, wife gets her nails done which is then cured under UV light,
Nail polish is basically car paint, so that being could you paint a car then cure it in a UV booth . .?

Car paint cures by evaporation, as the chemicals react they release other chemicals and these released chemicals lead to the paint drying out, if you add heat it speeds up the process and hardens the paint quicker.

UV curing processes cure by polymerisation of the chemical compounds as they react they bond together and grow into long polymer chains the uv light speeds this process up.

Shining uv light on an evaporative car paint will achieve nothing and won't speed up curing

Why does the Climate control automatically select recirculated air when it's warm out? I'm pretty sure it's warmer in the car than outside until it's been on for a few minutes. I can sort of see the logic of it scavenging air it has already chilled but does it from the moment you turn the key. In normal conditions it always runs fresh air from cold start, although it's been so warm eco mode has deactivated and knocked 2mpg off my economy.

It's more economical, as once cool if the internal cabin temp selected is lower than externally it'll be working less hard to keep cold air cool than it will be to cool warmer external air.

In the Prius it only recirculates as you've mentioned when in Eco mode as it used less draw from the battery, due to the reasons explained above.

Figured it would be, you can't manually activate eco mode on the Mazda it only comes on in automatic and switches itself on and off dependent on the temperature selected and how hot it is outside.
