General Stilo weight

Hi all,

last week my 3dr JTD passed NCT test on first time. kind of unexpected for me.

but there was another surprise - the reports states: weight - 1475 kg, wow.
In tech spec. I've found 1265 kg. Has anyone an idea why is it about 200 kg heavier than it should be? In fuel tank was max 15l. It does have a sky roof - another 20-30 kg extra, but that's it.

think that might be 'bare' weight e.g. no spare tire, tools, electrics, aircon etc. 1475 sounds about right (pop your bonnet and have a look at the vin plate - it should have two figures for weight.. second should be close to what you've got.. although i might be mistaken and second figure is maximum weight? Perhaps your stilo just needs to go on a diet.. and loose all them carbon deposits that are weighting it down )

Was it dave that found a bird in his BMC airfilter? you might have a sheep or deer or something lodged under there lol.
