Well, picked it up yesterday and been playing it on and off since. I hate it and its getting traded tomorrow. Problems are stuttering frame rate, poor graphics (can live with that), endless disconnections from xbl plus more. If you are thinking of getting it check out the Atari Racepro forum first, wish i had. Paid £39.99 for it and won't get anywhere near that on trade in
Dont get it from Game either, because if you dont like it and it is opened (which it has to be for you not to like it) they will only give you trade on it even if you take it back within 4 hours (i did but decided to persevere with it but now i've had enough. :bang:
I like it lots. Ca't stop playing it!
Takes ages to set steering up for wheel use though.
Look on atari race pro forum for a FFB fix as the force feedback doesnt always work.
Much better physics engine than forza though.
No frame rate issues for me
Not the best graphics but thats not what its about
I loved Colin McRae's Dirt and so was very excited by the idea of RaceDriver Grid by the same folk. It seems pretty much like the spiritual successor to the TOCA series.
I avoided buying it but Asda online have it for £15 or so. Seems too good to miss.
For the record I hate PGR and find Forza too realistic. Love Burnout but find it too unrealistic. Hopefully this will be a cheap and happy medium - Youtube vids of it in action make it look exactly my kind of racer.
