This the man who designed the Fiat 500 and changed the fortunes of fiat in the late 2000s, he also oversaw the punto from 2006 and other fiat group cars as the head of design in that era including the new Bravo.

Genuinely interesting guy to listen to. cut his teeth working on the Escort Cosworth, moved to BMW, designed the 2001 Mini Cooper, the BMW X5 Then spent the latter part of his career designing everything that McLaren produced.

the damaging thing there is that he is the guy who designed it and deliberately designed it to be "cute" so you can't deny that one I'm afraid.

You Joke but Fiat made a very good sideline in selling Handbags with the Fiat 500. They even did a Gucci Version for the Fiat 500 Gucci model.

Not so much "fell" for it, More people bought bags to match their new car.

If fiat 500 owners are anything like my wife they need little in the way of an excuse to buy a bag.

I tried to 'decute' mine (what bloke wants to be seen driving a cute car, especially in Oz?) and at least on the black you can't really see the 'smile'...

Well i guess the marketing department! had a far bigger budget than the build quality department!then!.
suppose we should be glad we dont have to lock the doors with "press studs" for security!.
My wife says i need little excuse to buy another motorcycle! do they come with matching wallets? ( OH s**t of course they do! thank god for Harley-Davidson!).
