Punto (Mk2/2b) My mk2 punto sporting.

Introduction

Heres when i 1st got it:

Bought it with a loud noise coming from the engine that could only be heard from the inside, turned out to be an engine mount which i replaced at a cost of £30 including a spare wheel never been used and some fuses, had some bad earths (usual punto problems)

Then removed the bump strips

C/C door handles:

Painted calipers red (which now regret)

tinted side windows:

Then moved on to smoothing my bumpers

Primer flatted off

Final coat of paint:

End result not too bad considering ive had no previous experiance of using filler or spraying.

Then was the mirrors as i had the yellow mixed already:

Plan is to smooth everything, Already have my boot in primer all de locked and badges, will upload pic when i can and have the front bumper off already.

thanks for looking let me know what you think cheers.
Re: My mk2 punto sporting

Havnt been on here in a while, Starter motor packed up sunday morning so spent half the day getting that off and ended up with something dropping in my eye which burnt like mad and after an hour of washing it and it still being very painful i ended up down the hospital having it checked and turned out i scratched my cornea? i think it is. So have been using ointment since then, which means i cant wear my contact lenses so im blind until thursday

Always wear the correct protective equipment lol (y)

Managed to get it all back working the next day tho.

Also sprayed my wheels black but have no pics of it on this pc atm.

Re: My mk2 punto sporting

go for the 4x100 fitment, and either use wobbly bolts or hub converters.

this gives a lot more choice, as that is the VW fitment.

ATS Classics would look nice
or Borbet As
or banded steelies

looking well nice pal. where did you get your springs from and where did the get the paint from i cant find the same yellow as mine anywhere:(
